Well, this stinks if true. Jed Lowrie may or may not have been the future at the SS position. Now, the organization and its fans may or may not have to wait and find out. Not good news.
But the club will find someone to give them some decent play at the position. Whether that is from Julio Lugo rediscovering how to play baseball well. Or from an outside source, whoever that may be.
