DraftStreet free fantasy baseball challenge – $100 prize

DraftStreet.com is putting on a promotion for one day only and $100 up for grabs with the top 5 getting paid — and yes, it’s completely free to sign up. No way you can lose here, right?

The guidelines are simple.

Fill out your roster (C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 3 OF, 2 U, 2 SP, RP, P) while staying within the budget of $100,000. Player salaries are set by DraftStreet based on fantasy production. So, if you want to put Roy Halladay on the mound, it might cost you $16,000, which means you’ll have to find some bargains to fill out the rest of your squad.

Sign up now for free and build a team for Friday, April 22, 2011. You can adjust your roster up until the games start (first game is at 7:05 p.m. EST, players from the Dodgers/Cubs game at 2:20 will not be available). Then check out the scoreboard when the games start and watch your team win you cash. You can even show off your team when you start racking up the points.

Below are how the points are scored. Again, completely free with a chance to win $100. You can walk away after the game if you’d like, although you are more than welcome to stick around at DraftStreet and continue playing for a chance to win more. Hey, Mike Leake (Reds pitchers) apparently needs money, so you may run into him playing DraftStreet!
