It’s time for a new poll! This one wants to know your opinion on Aaron Cook. It appears as if he will be added to the Red Sox roster as a reliever. Is that a good idea?
The choices are:
- Yes! The ‘pen needs all the help it can get.
- No! Cook can’t strike anyone out. Get rid of him.
- Not really, but it’s better than losing him.
- Yes! We need him to start if a spot opens up.
The previous poll asked if the season was already over, doing so on April 22 before the Red Sox opened some eyes this past week with inspired play. The results were overwhelmingly “No” — it is nice to see that for all the bluster and panic gripping Red Sox Nation so far, most people are level-headed. Now, it’s going to be difficult to keep up with the Yankees and Rays thanks to the poor start Boston had, but Tampa just lost Evan Longoria for what amounts to two months and the Yankees are aging with rotation questions. Is the season over? Not by a long shot.
