The Red Sox will have a tough decision on their hands when Clay Buchholz returns from his ailment that landed him in the hospital. The Sox will have to bump one of Aaron Cook or Franklin Morales from the rotation. There was going to be a tougher decision on Boston’s hands related to the rotation, but Daisuke Matsuzaka hitting the DL has helped defray that decision. However, he will eventually be back, and the decision will have to be made all over again. So let’s ask: who should the permanent No. 5 starter be?
- Aaron Cook
- Franklin Morales
- Daisuke Matsuzaka
- Other (Zach Stewart? Someone not in the organization?)

Here’s the result of the previous poll:
Do you believe the Sox clubhouse is in trouble?
- No, I believe the players and what I have seen. (52%, 287 Votes)
- There’s no way to know. (21%, 115 Votes)
- It’s irrelevant to winning on the field. (14%, 78 Votes)
- Yes, I believe the recent reports. (13%, 72 Votes)
The majority of respondents think the clubhouse is fine. Based on how the players interact with each other publicly and how involved they seem to be in the games as opposed to last year, I’m right there with you.
