The Red Sox traded Lars Anderson to the Cleveland Indians, according to Alex Speier, Red Sox beat writer for WEEI (@alexspeier on Twitter). In return, the Red Sox received minor league pitcher Steven Wright. Wright, a righty knuckleballer, was selected by the Indians in the 2nd round of the 2006 draft. Wright pitched for the University of Hawai’i.
