I don’t know what looked more painful – Sunday’s game or poor Shane Victorino‘s crash into the right field wall. Even the Blue Jays bullpen came to see if he was alright.

  • If Jon Lester‘s one-hitter was the high point of the week, the low was just beyond it. “Bad baseball” is just the tip of the iceberg right now for these guys. (Terrible Sox crushed by Jays)
  • Really? All the Red Sox need to do is…”grind” their way through this? I feel like there’s a bit more to it than that. Y’know, like pitching & hitting better, for starters. (Pesto on home plate?)
  • You can complain about the last of hitting with runners in scoring position all you want. The truth is, the Red Sox simply aren’t hitting at all. (A Lineup With No Middle)
  • There seems to be a trend with the Red Sox trading for relievers lately: 1. Make trade. 2. Watch said reliever get injured. 3. Cry and hope for better days. (Joel Hanrahan out for season)
