Polls are back! With the new season approaching, we’re going to get back to weekly polls regarding recent news, events, and other general inanity. Before we talk about this week’s poll, however, let’s take a look at our offseason question.
No surprise here: over half of you wanted to see an encore of Mike Napoli at first base, and you got your wish. The other 46% of you, though, must have been pretty disappointed, as Ellsbury, Saltalamacchia and Drew (at least for the time being) have all departed. Six percent of you cold, emotionless people wanted to see everybody leave. Ouch.
Which Red Sox Free Agent do you want to see brought back the most?
- Mike Napoli (54%)
- Jacoby Ellsbury (31%)
- ALL OF YOU LEAVE NOW (6%)
- Stephen Drew (5%)
- Jarrod Saltalamacchia (4%)
For this week, we’re gonna talk about third base. Last week, Alex Skillin took a look at 22-year-old Garin Cecchini and the possibility that he may supplant Will Middlebrooks in the hot corner sooner rather than later. Taking that into consideration…
Who will start at third base for the 2016 Boston Red Sox?
- Will Middlebrooks
- Garin Cecchini
- Xander Bogaerts
- Mike Lowell
- Other (Trade, FA Signing, etc)
