Sure it’s -15 degrees and Boston is still buried under a “Dustin Pedroia” of snow, but I have some good news for you…it’s spring — training — in Florida.

On the heels of the Red Sox signing of 19 year old Cuban sensation Yoan Moncada, Paul and Tim take stock of the Red Sox organization and ask the simple question, “is this team built to win now or are they in the process of building to win later”.

We revive the “do we need an ace” discussion *recurring theme alert* and breakdown the log jam in the outfield where we have many assets and the only guaranteed starting spot is handed to the only player — Hanley Ramirez — who has never played a game in the OF in his career.

All that and more on this week’s edition of Fireside Chats.

Thanks for listening!
