Larry out, Cherrington out, Dave Dombrowski in. The Baseball Operations department upheaval on Yawkey Way has begun. Regime change is in the air. While it’s a little too late to hope for much tangible impact this season, it’s a change that nearly every Red Sox fan can understand the need for. Now how deep the change goes to the philosophical core of Red Sox management goes, only time will tell. But don’t worry, I don’t think we’ll be ushering Xander or Mookie out the door for proven veterans anytime soon.
