While the podcasts away, the Sox will play — and play well. Really, I am starting to feel like Paul and I’s absence is good medicine for the Red Sox offense which has taken it’s rightful place as the best offense in the American League in this recent twenty game stretch.
Lead by a resurgent Carl Crawford, a consistently excellent Adrian Gonzalez and the surprising David Ortiz, the Red Sox offense has been everything this offseason lead fans to believe it might be recently.
Paul and I take a close look at the “odd (year) ball” Josh Beckett and Jonathan Papelbon and wonder if Daisuke Matsuzaka has pitched his last game in a Red Sox uniform.
All that and more on this episode of Fireside Chats.
