Well, the All-Star break has come and gone with nothing more than a whimper from the Red Sox this season. With a first half of discontent, injury, melodrama and underperformance behind them, the Red Sox still find themselves in the playoff hunt – despite themselves. Reinforcements are coming off the disabled list in the form of our starting outfield and we’re all still waiting for Jon Lester and Josh Beckett to put this team on their backs for a bit.
But does it all matter in the end or is this a lost season before the second half even begins? To answer the hard questions, we turn to our most regular of regulars, Chip Buck to help us out.
