With another week of baseball in the books for the 2014 season the Red Sox remain the cellar dwellers of the AL East. Despite playing putrid baseball for the majority of the season, the Red Sox just turned in one of their most productive weeks of baseball; going 4-2 over the last six games. Although losing two of four at home to the lowly Astros is disappointing, going on the road to sweep the Reds was one of the highlight’s of the week. Hopefully we will see more of that over the final month and a half of the season.
The overall highlight of this week in Red Sox baseball was the induction of Pedro Martinez, Roger Clemens, Nomar Garciaparra, and Joe Castiglione into the Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame. Thus, this week’s Tweets of the Week will feature many tweets from Thursday’s festivities, which should produce much nostalgia.
Honorable Mention: I hope this comes to fruition sometime soon:
Xander Bogaerts: "It's time to stop messing up so much."

10. After a rocky first inning for Joe Kelly on Tuesday against the Reds, @SurvivingGrady tweeted this gem of a .GIF describing his current mood. The Sox would end up going on to win this game courtesy of a late inning Yoenis Cespedes two run home run.

9. Brock Holt loves the Kiss Cam almost as much as he loves playing every position for the Boston Red Sox:
Found a @BrockStar4Lyf / @11webster11 kiss cam pic. Can't believe Webster turned him down #RedSox pic.twitter.com/E6yvGDpSnK

8. If you have never seen the video of Jose Canseco taking a fly ball off the top of his head, which resulted in a home run, go ahead, do yourself a favor, and click here. Today, this almost happened to Yoenis Cespedes. Unfortunately, I only have this tweet as proof:
Cespedes nearly Canseco'd a flyball off his head. Instead, it plopped just behind him off the base of the warning track for an RBI single.

7. On Tuesday night, Christian Vazquez successfully executed a sacrifice bunt. Obviously this led to some AJ Pierzynski mocking:
@Jared_Carrabis @firebrandal Then blamed the runner on second.

6. Ladies and Gentleman, this is potentially your starting third baseman and center fielder for 2015. Look, I’m totally on board the JBJ defensive bandwagon, but if the guy can’t achieve an OBP at a clip over .300 with no power I’m not sure he belongs in the everyday starting lineup:
Bradley's first multi-hit game since July 25.

First time this year Middlebrooks has had multiple hits vs RHPs in a game.

5. This is depressing… Bring me Stanton:
Giancarlo Stanton, Nelson Cruz, and Chris Carter have as many home runs in 2014 as the entire Red Sox team.

4. On Thursday night, Jackie Bradley Jr. walked for the first time since July 24. This moment was greeted on Twitter with a chorus of mocking tweets about his lack of walks. This one was the best:
Downs just walked JBJ, which I believe is grounds for execution in the state of Texas.

1. This short excerpt about Pedro Martinez and Sandra Bullock is easily one of the funniest pieces of information I read all week. This is Pedro in a nutshell:
One of my favorite Pedro stories. pic.twitter.com/LZnF21KRD3
