I think we should start him until we are absolutely forced to bench him. As research on Fire Brand has shown, Lugo isn’t exactly the worst shortstop in baseball. There aren’t any clear upgrades on the horizon out of the organization, so our best bet is to see if Jed Lowrie can fill that position long term.
