GAME NOTES: The Red Sox have now won 11 straight games at home with their victory over the Rays Tuesday night at Fenway. Great work from the bullpen as MDC, Hansen and Papelbon chip in. One of the other keys with Ortiz out is the pitching staff taking less pressure off of the offense to perform…and it all starts with Josh Beckett. Through the first two months, Beckett leads the AL in strikeouts but has a 4.30 ERA, far too high. In June and July, Josh will turn into the ace he is, and it begins tonight with a great performance against free swinging Tampa.
