Other than Opening Day, unquestionably my favorite day of the regular season occurs on the last day of July. The trading deadline brings rumors to fruition, anticipation and anxiety to new levels and the constant refreshing of sites like MLB Trade Rumors and Rotoworld to get the latest scoop on any deal. This year, the deadline waves are quieter and there seems to be a shallow pool of players being floated around the wire.
