Bryan Corey yesterday resigned with the Red Sox on a minor league contract and will report to Pawtucket.
I’m a bit late with this news as I was out of town last weekend and am just getting caught up on everything, but former Red Sox catcher John Marzano passed away. He hit .241/.289/.344 in 10 seasons, six with the Red Sox. Perhaps most famous for decking Paul O’Neill while with the Seattle Mariners, a touching tribute to Johnny Marz was written over at Phanatic Phollow Up.
