After being devastated he would not be making his major league debut last September, he’s finally getting the call. The first baseman, acquired for Wily Mo Pena, is hitting .316 with 10 HR in 56 games for the PawSox. He will replace Jeff Bailey on the roster and likely will see some time as a DH.
