Wednesday Wrap-up: Red Sox news from all over

Three big stories headline the local papers today in Red Sox Nation. The Providence Journal is reporting that David Ortiz would like to see the Sox add a 30 HR bat, and some bullpen help. The Boston Globe's Mazz gives us his insight on the front office philosophy of the organization as it pertains to pitching this offseason. Finally, the Boston Herald shows proof of the economic state of the country, reporting that ticket prices in Fort Myers and Boston this year will freeze and be the same as 2008.

No Holliday for Sox; Slugger heads to A’s

According to SI.com, the Colorado Rockies have traded their All-Star outfielder, Matt Holliday, to the Oakland A's. It is not known at this time who Colorado will receive in the trade.

Dustin Goes Gold
