No one is saying anything so it’s time to start. Accusations are just that. And the other 103 names on that list will surely come out, so no one from any other team should gloat. This is a bad day for baseball, in the sense that the next home run champ will also have an asterisk, and that steroids haven’t gone away. The bigger stories, I think, are #1, the involvement of the Players Union in circumventing accountability and responsibility (and destroying those reports), and #2, that in addition to A-Rod, a large # of Mitchell Report players are Boras clients. This certainly fits the predator mentality. Complicity with the Players Union and their drive for top $$ for the upper level players? This story is going to need many shovels to find out deep it goes.
