After a disappointing 1-0 loss to the Blue Jays in an extra-inning game in which Josh Beckett had to leave with an ankle injury, the Red Sox will try to get back on track tonight with Jon Lester taking the mound. Lester took a no decision in his last outing against the Yankees, going five innings and surrendering one run on seven hits, three walks, and six punchados. Lefty Luis Perez will toe the rubber for the Blue Jays. In his last start Perez gave up five runs and two home runs in five innings of work against the Orioles. Tonight will be Perez’s fourth start of the year but he has 29 relief appearances.
