The Red Sox bring their 1-1/2 game American League East lead into another interleague series against the San Diego Padres tonight at Fenway Park. Making his first start for the Sox is Andrew Miller, who was acquired in the off-season from the Florida Marlins for Dustin Richardson. Miller holds a career 1-1 mark against the Padres with a 4.91 ERA. Among current Padres who have faced Miller, Jason Bartlett is 4-9 with 2 RBI against him, and Chase Headley is 2-3 with 3 RBI against him.
Taking the mound for the Padres is Wade LeBlanc.
