A lot of people feel that Ortiz is going to come back and be a machine. Curiously enough, Joe, who won the trivia question two questions ago and submitted this poll, seemed remarkably prescient with the Jed Lowrie comment. Lugo went down with an injury two nights ago and is now out four to six weeks, meaning we might not see him again until rosters expand.
It’s with this in mind that I present the new poll question: How should the Red Sox address the shortstop vacancy created by Julio Lugo’s injury? Please note the key word is “should,” not “will.” To vote, look at the top right. For people reading in RSS, visit Fire Brand’s site, firebrandal.com, and vote!
